ARLINGTON WINS ON THE ROAD BEHIND MCNAMARA’S 27
Wakefield, MA. 1/8/19. Arlington sophomore point guard Brendan McNamara converted consecutive one and one chances in the waning moments to preserve the Spy Ponders 57- 53 road victory over Middlesex League foe Wakefield Tuesday night.
McNamara’s critical freebies were among the 9 of 10 he sank for the night on his way to a game high 27 points.
Senior co-captain James Gascoigne added 12 points for Arlington
The win, which was also John Bowler’s 150th as Arlington head coach, sets up a key match up between the second place Spy Ponders and league leading Belmont Friday night at 7 in Belmont.
